The Story of Bloomington Electric’s Lasting Legacy:
Our Past & Our Future
Founded in 1965, Bloomington Electric began as a residential contractor before being acquired by the Dulas family in 1977. With deep local roots, Dave Dulas transitioned the company into commercial contracting, building a strong reputation for quality. Dave’s son, Tim Dulas, joined in 1980 and became president in 1998, continuing the family legacy. Today, Bloomington Electric remains family-owned, proudly serving the community with reliable electrical solutions for over 65 years, with a strong focus on preparing the next generation of leadership to carry on our tradition of excellence.
